Big brother Connor, baby sister Fiona, and the rest of the family!

Baby Fiona was officially 6 days old on Sunday, and to mark the occasion her parents invited me over for a portrait session.  Her new big brother was anxious to show me his newfound brother-ing skills, and also his affinity for Mickey Mouse and soccer balls.  Fiona was a star performer, and the rest of the family did a great job as well.

Leave me a comment, and let me know what you think!

Wayne, I love these photos! They are so beautiful.

Brian and Michelle’s Mustachioed, Vintage-y, Weller’s Weddings Wedding!

Brian and Michelle got married at the gorgeous Weller’s Weddings in Saline, Michigan. It seems that Henry Ford used to own this property, and used it to grow gigantic crops of soybeans.  Although I’m quite the edamame fan, there was n’er a soybean to be found at their wedding reception, only pink mustaches, delicious cookies, and a good time had by all.  Thanks for having us photograph your wedding, guys.  Can’t wait to show you the rest of the images!

Wonderful pics! Very cool!!

Jen and Dave’s Belle Isle Engagement!

Jen, Dave, and I ventured out to Belle Isle for their engagement session recently, and we got rained on.  We tried to press on, but the rain had other ideas…we thought it would clear up, and it rained harder. Then, we decided to reschedule. The rain stopped almost immediately.

A couple of days later, we reconvened on the island, and had a BEAUTIFUL day for photography.  Take a look!

Kattee and Keith are gettin’ hitched! (An Ann Arbor Engagement Session)

My friends Kattee and Keith are getting married in a year, and I’m jazzed they asked me to photograph their wedding. I’m so jazzed, in fact that I just used the word jazzed in public…jeez, I’m running out of superlatives!

Anyhow, I’ve known these guys for a long time. My wife has known Kattee since foreva’, and I couldn’t be more excited for them.

They get along wonderfully, make each other laugh like crazy, and share an admiration for a certain “Wonderdog” named Owen (and yes, I just linked to his Facebook page).

I met up with them at Gallup Park in Ann Arbor, and even though Owen was having a slight wardrobe malfunction, we got some great portraits.  From there we headed to campus, and ended up at the Michigan Theater for some photos “after dark”.  :)

Had a great time guys, can’t wait until next October!!

Baby Katie and Her Big Brother Jack Run Amok! (Family portraits in Birmingham, MI)

Katie and Jack (well, their parents) called me up last week, and wanted some new family portraits taken while the trees were changing colors.

We met up at Booth Park in Birmingham and had a great time running through the leaves, running down the hills, and running from the camera.  ;)

I had a great time photographing this awesome family, and hope to do it again soon!  Thanks guys!!
